Writes Dan McCardell: Bill -- I thought you would enjoy this shot from the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, Argentina ("El Fin del Mundo") -- Cape Horn lies beyond this and then the next stop is Antarctica. Started out in Buenos Aires a few weeks ago, went West across the Pampas and the Andes to Santiago and then all the way south through Chilean and Argentine Patagonia to Tierra del Fuego. Took 3 pairs of Bills for the trip and they’ve held up great through long bus rides, boat trips, horseback riding and occasional meetings along the way. All the Best, Dan |
"Original" Painter's PantsReading based artist Robert Pepper knows Bills Khakis well. The Englishman's studio has presided atop the Bills Khakis warehouse for 12 years, on the 3rd floor of Reading’s south end Canal Street building. This pant, a Model #1 Button Fly, was commissioned for exclusive rights to the photograph and will remain a work in work. Future adaptations will be exhibited as they become available.
