- Working at ESPN is a great marriage between my avocation and vocation. It’s a business that is dynamic and changes daily. Our mission statement at ESPN is to “Serve the Sports Fan” and it is energizing to work with a brand and a genre that elicits such passion in people.
- Favorite Distractions (Hobbies):
- Avid Skier, Golfer, Paddle/Squash/Tennis player, and carry a fly rod with me wherever I go.

- Anytime I see one of my four sons.

- Be yourself…everyone else is taken.
- Greatest Risk You Ever Took:
- Leaving the broadcast industry for the cable business in the mid 1980’s. Looking back, I would make the same decision again.

- Anything from Nelson DeMille
- How you first discovered Bills Khakis:
- I’m a nostalgic guy and was intrigued by an advertisement I saw promoting an American made classic khaki. Advertising works!!!

- 1994 – I have a pair of Bills that I cut into shorts because they were so worn out...they are basically tissue paper...but I won't let go!!!
